Was it worth the hype? I have just finished this massive 1000+ book and though I found it interesting, no it was not worth the hype for me. I know this goes in the total opposite direction as pretty much everyone else. But I was never sitting at the edge of my seat wondering what will happen next. There were no real surprises; a few oh my and wow moments. I really struggled getting into this book. Maybe it's because I don't have a lot of time to just grab a book and sit and read for hours and I HATE stopping in the middle of a chapter and these chapters were so beyond long that I had to try to time my reading so I didn't have to put it down in the middle of a chapter. I can say I think this is a masterpiece of a love story. What you will and won't do for love? How far will you go to save the other?
